The situation seems so absurd that children become deliberate targets and victims of war. According to the official data of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights*, more than 1,680 children have been killed or injured in Ukraine since February 24, 2022 during the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. Thousands and thousands of children would be kidnapped, maimed and killed.
Since 2014, the Russian Federation has occupied approximately 160,000 km2 of Ukrainian territory, which is almost ½ the area of Germany.
Living next door to Russia, it is important to hide your children. It is important to note the blood type so that in situations where parents are no longer able to help, rescuers can act quickly.
